Charge Grater 3 City Bike - 2015
You could argue that the Charge Grater 3 is the ultimate city bike
Primarily designed for the year-round commuter, the Grater 3 is packed full of features that make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable, practical, great looking bike to get around the city, down the bike path, or just go for an easy ride
Built around a lightweight and durable aluminum frame and fork, the Grater 3 is a bike that can handle pretty much anything
Using an eccentric BB, this Grater comes equipped with the best city bike gearing available -- Shimano Alfine
The Alfine system uses gears that are sealed inside the rear hub
Contrary to what it may seem, this setup actually gives the rider a greater gear range than some external gear setups while keeping everything safely protected against the elements
This means that you get smooth shifting with virtually no maintenance necessary
It also means that you can shift without pedaling and on top of all of that, the hubs are set up for disc brakes
Just because Charge uses such an amazing drivetrain does not mean they cut corners with the rest of the build
Shimano hydraulic brakes provide all-weather stopping power better than any other brake on the market
Kenda Kwick Tendril tires provide comfort and puncture resistance
Full coverage fenders keep you protected from a wet commute and also gives the Alfine drivetrain one more layer of protection
Rack mounts, lock-on grips, and one of Charge's award winning saddles round out the build.

KTM Scarp Prestige 29er Mountain Bike - 2016
From the country that brought you a prodigy named Mozart comes a mountain bike that epitomizes the best that Austrian engineering can deliver: the KTM Scarp Prestige
Since its birth on the drawing board, the KTM development team had only one focus: We want to improve in every single detail! The result is a mountain bike that is more rigid, lighter, nimbler, faster, and will make you ride like a cycling prodigy
The 2016 Scarp has a completely new carbon frame, which is based on the Straight--Line--Link (SLL) suspension in combination with a Rocker Blade
This technological innovation offers a very sensitive response to smaller bumps and a high absorption of big hits while keeping high pedaling efficiency
In other words, you fly over the mountain trail like an Ibex regardless of the terrain
To achieve this, KTM deliberately set no bearing point at the dropout, which maximizes stiffness and keeps you moving forward without bobbing up and down
To improve bike handling, the KTM Scarp Prestige utilizes a flatter head tube angle, steeper seat tube angle and a longer top tube combined with a shorter stem
This geometry puts the rider in the ideal position for swift steering and handling
Equipped with top-of-the line Sram and Shimano components, 180mm rotors for quick stops, and KTM DT Prime II 29 wheels, the Prestige weighs in at under 10 kilograms
Sheer genius.

Fuji Norcom Straight 2.1 Triathlon Road Bike - 2017

Fuji Norcom Straight 2.1 Triathlon Road Bike - 2017

Fuji Norcom Straight 2.1 Triathlon Road Bike - 2017
When it's a race against the clock, you can't afford to miss an opportunity to shave valuable seconds off your time
The 2017 Fuji Norcom Straight 2.1 time trial/triathlon bike is a time machine built to shave tenths of seconds, if not minutes, off of every ride
As is common practice at Fuji, designers left no avenue of development unexplored, and worked hand in hand with olympic triathlete Matty Reed and pro triathlon champions Sarah Haskins and Cameron Dye to address issues from a pro rider's perspective, and then translate these inputs into arguably one of the fastest bikes on Earth
The Norcom Straight's C5 carbon frame and FC-330 carbon fork technology represent an amazing jump in stiffness, steering response, and of course, aerodynamics
Norcom was engineered largely in the legendary A2 Wind Tunnel facility in North Carolina, where designers were able to significantly reduce the drag on every yaw angle on the frame and fork, and incorporate the most developed shaping techniques in the industry
The result is an ultra-light, ultra-stiff high modulus carbon frame with vertical dropouts
Norcom Straight's designers placed the rear brake cavity directly behind the bottom bracket (as opposed to being on the seat tube in previous bikes) , and opted to go with a BB86 bottom bracket which moves the bearings outward on the crank axle, dramatically improving the stiffness of both the frame -- through a greater cross-sectional width at the BB shell -- and the crank itself
The result was a surprising 26% increase in stiffness in the BB area, which to a triathlon or time trial rider equals faster times
The Norcom 2.1 features a Shimano Ultegra 11-speed drivetrain and an Oval Concepts mid-compact 52/36 crankset
You'll achieve the perfect cadence and power no matter the grade or heart rate
Deep dish Oval Concepts 950 wheels and Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick tires deliver dependable performance and aerodynamics
TRP aero TTV brakes deliver modulation response directly from your fingertips to the wheels to eliminate over-braking while also providing full stopping power.

Ktm Chicago 27.24 Disc H 27.5&Quot; Mountain Bike - 2016

KTM Chicago 27.24 Disc H 27.5 Mountain Bike - 2016
KTM isn't a brand you hear about too often on this side of the Atlantic
But the Austrian company is one of those hidden gems that occasionally emerges out of Europe to remind you why they continue to be the center of cycling
Originally (and still) a maker of high end motorsports bikes, KTM has brought its engineering prowess to bear on some of the most advanced mountain and road bikes around
Tested in the Austrian Alps, proven in racing, and ready to take your performance to the next level

The KTM Chicago 27.24 Disc H is one of the more interesting bikes we've seen in a while
Blending the best elements of a hardtail mountain bike and a Euro-style commuter, this is a bike for someone who loves to ride anywhere, in any whether conditions
You could say it's the ultimate adventure bike
With a high performance alloy frame that's stiff, lightweight and durable and a Suntour SF M3030 suspension fork with 75mm of suspension travel to take the sting out of light trail riding or rough roads
Shifting duties are handled by a Shimano Acer 3x8 drivetrain that gives you 24 speeds to choose from, while stopping is accomplished via Shimano M355 disc brakes, which offer powerful stopping performance in nearly any weather
Where things get really interesting though is when you head towards the rolling stock
You see, the KTM Chicago features a set of 27.5 wheels mounted with huge Ruben V85 Ocelot tires coming in at 2.1 inches wide
But at the center of that front wheel is a dynamo generator hub, which powers an AXA Pico LED 15 lux front light with an on/off switch, as well as a flashing rear light
That means you can light your path and stay visible to traffic anywhere you go, without ever having to worry about charging your batteries
The rider is also protected from dirt, wet and mud by a set of front and rear fenders, and there's even provisions for a rear rack
So go ahead and plan your next adventure--even if it's just to the office
You never know where the Chicago might take you.

Se Bikes Ripper X 20&Quot; Bmx Bike

SE Bikes Ripper X 20 BMX Bike
SE Racing has been engineering BMX race bikes since the late 1970's, and they still operate on the cutting edge of the sport
The Ripper X is a race-ready bike for younger riders who are ready to graduate to a 19 top tube because they are taller and heavier, and who need the bike to be a little stronger to accomodate
The Ripper X features SE's 6066 aluminum frame which is custom butted for light weight and excellent power transfer
An alloy Landing Gear fork features a chromoly steer tube for added strength, yet keeps the front light for excellent sprinting and steering response, and a slightly longer top tube than other small Ripper versions (19.5) puts the smaller rider in the correct position to air doubles steadily and safely for their age/size/weight phase
Alloy 3-piece cranks are ultra light, and measure 165mm and are designed to complement the 38/15T gear ratio that spares young knees the pressure of adult ratios
Alloy bars, stem, seat post, and brakes all shave precious weight, and Ankle Biter alloy wheels by industry leader Alienation are stiff enough for great pedal response, and tough enough for rough landings and even pileups
A BMX race bike for the young racer who is growing in the sport, not ready for a full-sized 20 race bike, serious about competing, training for competition, and getting the experience of riding in optimal race position, the Ripper X brings amazing performance, superior specs, and age-appropriate geometry
